A site for the production and distribution of “green” hydrogen, i.e. hydrogen produced directly from renewable energy sources. This innovative plant was the first production unit in the world to produce green hydrogen by being directly connected to wind turbines. It was the first production site to be commissioned by Lhyfe, in September 2021. Since then, the company has been widely deploying its capacities in France and abroad, both on land and at sea.
The green hydrogen is then distributed to manufacturers and public or private distribution stations, most commonly by container.
The plant initially produced 300kg of hydrogen a day and is in the process of commissioning additional capacity so that it can deliver more than 1000kg a day by the end of 2023.
