LTeN's activities focus on understanding and analysing heat transfers at different scales, with a view to controlling them in space and time in order to intensify transfers. They are carried out using identification, control and fine metrology methodologies. The scientific challenges are related to characterisation and modelling between the different scales, transfers at interfaces, and coupling between transfers and physico-chemical transformations in multiphase media.
Research focuses on heat and mass transfer in PEMFC fuel cells and their integration into systems.
